A Florida judge and a former classmate come face to face for the first time since they were children in an emotional courtroom reunion.
MIAMI, FLORIDA, UNITED STATES (JUNE 30, 2015) (NBC) – Florida Judge Mindy Grazer had an emotional reunion with a childhood friend on Tuesday (June 30) when 49-year-old Arthur Booth stood in her Miami courtroom facing burglary charges.
“Did you go to Nautilus… for middle school?,” she asked Booth.
A shocked Booth could only say “Oh my goodness,” as he broke into tears.
Grazer said Booth was the “nicest kid” in school and offered him encouragement.
“I hope you are able to come out of this okay and just lead a lawful life,” she said.
According to local media, Booth was charged with burglary, grand theft, fleeing, and resisting arrest.
His bond was set at $43,000.
