INTERNET (FEBRUARY 10, 2016) (FACEBOOK VIA REUTERS) – Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina%20Fiorina&redirect=yes"> dropped out of the 2016 White House race on Wednesday (February 10), the former business executive said in a posting on Facebook.

“While I suspend my candidacy today, I will continue to travel this country and fight for those Americans who refuse to settle for the way things are and a status quo that no longer works for them,” said Fiorina, the former Hewlett-Packard chief executive who placed second to last on Tuesday (February 9)in the New Hampshire primary.

On Tuesday evening, Fiorina vowed to continue her campaign for the White House.

“You’ve given us wind at the back. So as I said to many of you as I walked in the room tonight, we are going to keep going,” she told supporters in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Fiorina’s poor standing among Republicans candidates wasn’t helped by ABC News decision to not include her in the debate last Saturday (February 6).

Fiorina’s campaign protested the decision.

Speaking to supporters in Goffstown, New Hampshire, “You know I’m the best debater on the stage and you know I have been fearless in telling the truth about Mrs. Clinton…She’s been wrong on every major foreign policy challenge and maybe that’s the reason anybody but Carly network doesn’t have me on that stage tonight.”

A senior aide for New Jersey Governor Chris Christie said Christie would likely also drop out of the Republican race on Wednesday.
