Brazen New York store heist caught on camera

Surveillance video captures two men carrying out a brazen daylight robbery at a luxury watch store in an upscale Manhattan neighborhood.

NEW YORK, NEW YORK, UNITED STATES (NOVEMBER 21, 2016) (NEW YORK POLICE DEPARTMENT) – The New York City Police Department is looking for two people who carried out a jewel heist in broad daylight in a luxury watch store on Monday (November 21).

Surveillance video released by the NYPD shows two men, one in a winter hat, the other in a Yankees cap, entering the Jaeger-LeCoultre store in Manhattan’s Upper East Side, where one pulls a gun and the other begins to smash glass cases and grab watches.

Police say the men stole five watches worth more than $300,000 USD as they ordered employees to lie on the floor of the shop.

No one was injured in the robbery, police say.
