Bombardier loses battle with Boeing

The U.S. Commerce Department has slapped preliminary anti-subsidy duties on Bombardier’s CSeries jets after rival Boeing accused Canada of unfairly subsidizing the aircraft. As Laura Frykberg reports, the move is likely to strain trade relations between the neighbours and cause problems in Britain where Bombardier’s Northern Ireland factory employs thousands. Martin McGuinness, IRA street-fighter-turned statesman, dies

NORTHERN IRELAND, UK (REUTERS) – Martin McGuinness, the former Irish Republican Army commander who laid down his arms and turned peacemaker to help end Northern Ireland’s 30-year conflict, died on Tuesday (March 21) after a decade as deputy first minister of the British province. He was 66.
