Bridal couture collection dominates fourth day of fashion week in Mumbai

MUMBAI, MAHARASHTRA, INDIA (AUGUST 19, 2017) (ANI) – Bollywood actress, Nargis Fakhri, sashayed down the ramp on the fourth day of the Lakme Fashion Week in India’s showbiz capital, Mumbai on Saturday (August 19).

Fakhri, who walked the ramp for designer Anushree Reddy, was adorned in a yellow shiny lehenga (traditional Indian wear) with a pale pink dupatta (scarf) and a golden yellow blouse.

Fakhri expressed her happiness on Reddy’s bridal collection, as she said the models would portray a fairy look.

Bollywood actors Ranveer Singh and Vidyut Jamwal also walked the ramp for designers Manish Arora and Ajay Kumar respectively.

Ace designer, Kumar, said since colours were deep-rooted in Indian culture, they decided to make colourful couture from head to toe.

Lakme Fashion Week is held twice every year. Ace designer Manish Malhotra, whose clientele include most of Bollywood’s leading ladies, will be closing the gala event with the presentation of his line-up titled ‘Tales of Indulgence’ on Sunday (August 20).

The grand day will be dominated by fabrics like tulle, net, satin, crepe, silk, taffeta and tweed with handcrafted detailing and embroidery.
